Rogue One China Premiere & Official Chinese Trailer
Disney brought the international publicity tour for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story to China as director Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Donnie Yen and Jiang Wen reunited in Beijing (Dec 21st) for the China premiere.
Hot Toys was on hand to gift Donnie Yen a 1/6th figure of “Chirrut Îmwe” (WHAT), as well actor Jiang Wen received a as-yet-unannounced “Baze Malbus” 1/6 figure!
Director Gareth Edwards, Felicity Jones and Diego Luna each were gifted a 1/6th scale Stormtrooper (Porcelain Pattern Version) … Alas, Felicity didn’t get her 1/6th-counterpart, nor did Diego get his Cosbaby haha.
"In the evening, the team rocked the red carpet and greeted legions of passionate fans at the film's gala premiere held at Beijing's landmark "Water Cube", the entrance to which was lined with imposing live-size Death Trooper statues. With the event webcast to 10 Chinese cities simultaneously, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story looks certain to set the box office on fire when it opens in China on Jan 6, 2017."
